FAQ

 

PROBLEM Please check :
No pumping effect, the piston doesn't oscillate. Please check:   - If the pump is correctly powered ( a measure of the tension at the entrance of the coil may be wrong due the diode effect)
(no perceptible vibration or loud noise)    - If the requested fuse and diode are good.
     - If the power voltage corresponds to the nominal tension of the coil (pay attention at the voltage drop due to the diode).
The piston oscillates but the pump doesn't deliver liquid Please check:   - If the valves may be stuck by dry liquid (or particles / additives in the liquid). Inject air at max. 1 [bar] from inlet to oultet to unstick the valves.
     - if there is a filter, please verify if not clogged and clean it.
     - The tightness of the suction tube
     - That the self-priming height is not higher than the capacity of the pump.
     -The level of liquid in the suction tank
     - The viscosity of the liquid.
     - if the seals material of the pump is compatible or not with the liquid, they may be damaged by the liquid and open to air intake.
     - If the valves material of the pump is compatible or not with the liquid, they may swell and block the flow of the liquid.
     - The pump ran too long dry and internal parts are destroyed
     - The lifetime of the pump is over, the components are worn or destroyed.
The pump functions but doesn't give the expected performances. Please check  - If the power voltage corresponds to the nominal tension of the pump (please pay attention to the tension drop due to the diode).
     - if there is a filter, please verify if not clogged and clean it.
     - That the self-priming height is not higher than the capacity of the pump.
     - The viscosity of the liquid.
     - If it is a pump type 50, 75, 100, 120, 150 ou 200, it should be no lateral tensions on the pressure connector (piping, mounting …).
     - If the valves material of the pump is compatible or not with the liquid, they may swell and reduce the flow passage of the liquid.
     - The pump ran too long dry and internal parts are destroyed
     - The lifetime of the pump is over, the components are worn or destroyed.
There is air mixed with liquid in the tubing Please check:   - The tightness of the tubing and connection
     -The level of liquid in the suction tank or that inlet of tubing is in a quiet zone
     - if the seals material of the pump is compatible or not with the liquid, they may be damaged by the liquid and open to air intake.
The pump is leaking Please check:   - The tightness of the tubing and connections
     - if the seals material of the pump is compatible or not with the liquid, they may be damaged by the liquid and leaking.
The pump is more noisy Please check:   - if there is a filter, please verify if not clogged and clean it.
     - that there is no air intake on the suction side of the pump
     - if the seals of the pumps are tight and don't prime air.
     - The pump ran too long dry and internal parts are destroyed
     - The lifetime of the pump is over, the components are worn or destroyed.
